Re-Chord

Re-Chord is a device for musicians to wirelessly connect a guitar or bass to their computer or phone or similar device. This project was an exploration on connected devices.
Re-Chord keeps a classic Fender style bridge cover design to add to the overall appeal of the instrument, and uses piezo pickups to get the string vibrations. The pickups are connected to a small circuit board that uses Bluetooth to transmit the sound to the connected device.

Re-Chord uses a rail system to affix to the instrument, allowing it to be easily swapped between instruments.
